The program we established aims to rethink the history and aesthetics of cinema through the lens of the technologies that have shaped its evolution from the second half of the 19th century to the present day. We pursued this mission with the ambition of proposing a methodological renewal at a critical moment in the history of cinema — the transition to the all-digital era
