The international symposium "Reinventing the Stage. Innovation, création, diffusion" will take place from June 1 to 3, 2023 at the BAnQ's Grande Bibliothèque in Montreal.
The aim of this international, transdisciplinary colloquium is to bring together stakeholders in the performing and media arts, whether researchers, producers, presenters or creators, to discuss what has long nourished the fundamental identity of theater, opera, music and dance: the stage. How does the shift from live, in situ performances to a multiplication of possible configurations transform the experience of spectators and the very nature of the event in which they participate?
