On Novem­ber 9, 2022, Uni­ver­si­té de Mont­réal film stu­dents will attend a lec­ture by Láza­ro Gonzá­lez, entit­led "Memoirs of Sexile : Mariel Boat­lift and the Cuban Queer Archives. An award-win­ning film­ma­ker and doc­to­ral can­di­date in film and media at UC Ber­ke­ley, Láza­ro Gonzá­lez is inter­es­ted in queer cine­ma, non-fic­tio­nal nar­ra­tives and Latin Ame­ri­can film and media production.
