cinEX­me­dia has joi­ned forces with its part­ner I/MA/C/S (Inter­na­tio­nal Mas­ter in Cine­ma Stu­dies) to orga­nize the confe­rence "Ouvrir le dia­logue : varia­tions sur l’éducation à l’image", which will take place on Sep­tem­ber 30 and Octo­ber 1, 2023 at the Uni­ver­si­té de Montréal.

This confe­rence will pro­vide an oppor­tu­ni­ty for resear­chers and tea­chers to explore, through dia­logue and sha­ring, various peda­go­gi­cal issues spe­ci­fic to film and media stu­dies. The goal of the panel dis­cus­sions is to dis­co­ver how film, tele­vi­sion and media arts are cur­rent­ly being taught around the world. Thanks to the I/MA/C/S inter­na­tio­nal net­work, the col­lo­quium aims to gather the views of experts with diverse expe­riences, prac­tices and cultures. Bet­ween tra­di­tions and new tech­no­lo­gies, bet­ween aca­de­mic and com­mu­ni­ty envi­ron­ments, bet­ween crea­tion and research, the col­lo­quium aims to put for­ward papers that will attempt to reflect, ques­tion, but also explore and expose pos­sible expe­riences of col­la­bo­ra­tion, of dia­logue bet­ween the infi­nite varia­tions of image education.
